Fenugreek powder, also known as methi, is a spice grounded from the seeds of the fenugreek plant. Fenugreek powder are rich in minerals such as iron, potassium, calcium, selenium, copper, zinc, manganese and magnesium. In the vitamin department, it contains thiamin, folic acid, riboflavin, pyridoxine (vitamin B6), niacin, and vitamins A and C.
Use as an ingredient in soups, curries, dhals (lentils), meat dishes, marinades, chutneys or flatbreads (Roti).
You can also add a teaspoon of fenugreek powder in some yogurt, and eat it after dinner. This will help with digestion.
