Health Paradise Hulled Buckwheat is light in colour with a distinctive triangular shape and a mild, nutty flavour. Buckwheat has an excellent source of insoluble fiber and contains double the protein of oatmeal.
How to cook: Rinse buckwheat, then cook it in a 1:2 ratio of water. Bring the water to a boil, add the buckwheat groats and some salt, reduce the heat to a simmer, and cook it for about 15 minutes or until it becomes tender. You can add buckwheat to soups or stews or with oatmeal as a delicious breakfast cereal.
