Organic green lentils are so amazing because they are extremely versatile. Their natural flavor is similar to green peas, but a bit milder. Organic Green Lentils are the kind of legumes you can cook fast and enjoy often. High quality vegetable protein, rich in fibre, iron, and manganese.
Green Lentils retain its shape when cooked. Great with grains, in soups, stews, salads, dips, patties and as Indian dhal.
To cook: No soaking is needed. Add 4 cups of water to one cup of green lentils. Bring to a boil, cover tightly, and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook for 25 to 30 minutes or until tender.
