Organic instant barley drink is the result of a meticulous selection of the very best barley, carefully roasted and solubilized. With Crastan instant barley you can prepare a delicious, natural caffeine-free drink in the most practical and fast way, ideal for breakfast or at any other time of the day.
The most widely-used substitute for coffee is barley, today no-longer considered a simple low cost coffee substitute, but a product in its own right much appreciated due to its natural, wholesome good qualities as well as for its nutritional characteristics.
Barley makes a healthy, natural drink with a bitter taste and an intense aroma, a pleasant alternative to coffee and one which can be taken at any time of the day, even before going to bed as it contains no stimulants.
Mix it into the milk for a nourishing and balanced breakfast. Coffee substitutes are natural products that do not contain caffeine and are therefore suitable for everyone, adults and children, in particular for those who wish to avoid the stimulant effect of coffee.
Directions: Put two or three teaspoons of organic instant barley into a cup, add a little hot water or hot milk and stir; mix in the rest of the hot water or milk and sugar to taste.
