Molasses sugar is pure, unrefined, non-centrifugal cane sugar. It retains all of the nutrients from sugarcane, such as vitamins, minerals and antioxidants because the cane juice is not submitted to separation by centrifugation and bleaching.
Usage: Molasses sugar makes an excellent sweetener for coffee and tea, or when sprinkled over the top of oatmeal and yogurt.
It is ideal for all your baking needs, especially cookies, cakes, candies and rich sweets such as toffee, pralines, and fudge.
It can be used as a replacement for brown sugar, in 1 to 1 ratio.
